Cornsilk

$2.70$19.01

Although most people toss this material, dried cornsilk makes a tasty tea since it contains the same compounds found in mint and in thyme. While dried and powdered corn silk is taken as a supplement or used to make dusting powders and other cosmetics, the cut and dried material is used to produce syrups, extracts and tinctures.

**Be aware, however, that corn silk may increase the effects of diuretics, such as furosemide (Lasix).
